Course Content

Islamic Perspective of Education
This module introduces the core principles of education from an Islamic viewpoint, emphasizing the importance of Al-Ilm-al-Nafi (beneficial knowledge). You'll explore how the Eurocentric worldview shapes modern education, learn to foster a culture of excellence and reflective thinking in students, and critically examine psychological theories of education and their limitations.

Values and Education
This module focuses on understanding values and the concept of values-based education. You'll learn to distinguish between values from an empiricist and divine perspective, explore universal ethical values in Islam, and discover how to integrate values-based education into university teaching. Additionally, you'll explore how to incorporate Riphah Values into your teaching practices.

RAS-Model
In this module, you'll dive into the components of an effective teaching-learning process and explore the RAS-University Outcomes. You'll learn how to create a course dossier that aligns with these outcomes and apply the RAS-Model to foster holistic personality development in students.

Writing Integrated Teaching Materials
This module focuses on integrating knowledge in education through Tawhid. You'll explore the harmony between Ilm Naqli (revealed knowledge) and Ilm Aqli (rational knowledge), learn the steps to create integrated textbooks, and evaluate course outlines based on knowledge sources.
