Islam considers the killing of a human or being mischief with others is like killing or being mischief with the whole of mankind. In brief, Islam gives great importance to the preservation and promotion of Life. The Holy Quran mentions not to kill our children for the sake of resources. The seventeen points of the MDGs, which are signed by the Islamic states as well, dictate to control the population and to include birth control and preventive measures to be taught in the school curricula. The study shows that it is not the shortage of resources but the misuse of resources that results in the unfair distribution of resources that leads to scarcity, poverty, hunger, and death.
