Ethics is defined as the philosophical study of moral life. Morals and morality refer to manners observed by a specific community. Ethos refers to the totality of conceptions held by a community in relation to ethics. The term ethics is derived from greek from ethos meaning custom or usage. Professional means anything which is done systematically by a qualified person following a book either written or not. Every profession whether highly sophisticated or less sophisticated has certain norms. These norms whether they are good, evil, right, wrong, and other values in the east or the west are generally considered situational, temporal, and ever-evolving. This means things that may have been considered earlier as good may become bad at some time, or what is considered bad becomes good. That is why ethics is called normative science.
